Alexander Moseler, geboren in Plettenberg, studierte in Aachen kath. Kirchenmusik an der Kath. Hochschule für Kirchenmusik St. Gregorius und 2 Jahre Cembalo bei Roswitha Trimborn an der Musikhochschule Köln - Abteilung Aachen.
An der renommierten Schola Cantorum in Paris schloß er sein Orgelstudium bei Prof. Jean Paul Imbert mit dem "Diplôme de concert" ab. Ferner absolvierte er ein Fernstudium bei Prof. W. Zerer und Theo Jellema in Groningen und nahm an Meisterkursen bei Jon Laukvik, Lorenzo Ghielmi und Jean Wolfs teil.
Konzerte spielte er in Frankreich, Schweiz, Deutschland und Russland. Er setzt sich sehr stark mit der Musik des Pariser Kathedralorganisten und Komponisten Louis Vierne (1870-1937) auseinander leitet darüberhinaus Orgelkurse. Ferner ist A. Moseler auch kompositorisch tätig.
Mit bekannten Musikern wie Friedemann Graef (Saxophon), Jan-Filip Tupa (Violoncello) und Irina Tseytlina (Orgel) tritt er auch als Duo auf.
Zur Zeit bekleidet er die Kirchenmusikerstelle an der Kath. Pfarrgemeinde St. Josef in Datteln.

Alexander Moseler was born in Plettenberg and studied Catholic church music at the Catholic College for Church Music St. Gregorius and harpsichord for 2 years with Roswitha Trimborn at the Aachen Department of the Cologne University of Music.

He concluded his organ studies with Prof. Jean Paul Imbert at the renowned Schola Cantorum in Paris, receiving the "Diplôme de concert". He furthermore completed a distance learning course with Prof. W. Zerer and Theo Jellema in Groningen and took part in master courses with Jon Laukvik, Lorenzo Ghielmi and Jean Wolfs.

He played concerts in France, Switzerland, Germany and Russia. He works intensely with the music by the Parisian cathedral organist and composer Louis Vierne (1870 – 1937) and also offers organ courses.

A. Moseler is furthermore active as a composer.

He also performs as a duo with well-known musicians such as Friedemann Graef (saxophone), Jan-Filip Tupa (violoncello) and Irina Tseytlina (organ).

He currently holds the position as church musician at the Catholic parish of St. Josef in Datteln.

Né à Plettenberg, Alexander Moseler a fait des études de musique catholique à Aix-la-Chapelle à l’école supérieure catholique de musique religieuse St. Gregorius et 2 ans d’études de clavecin chez Roswitha Trimborn à l’école supérieure de musique de Cologne - section Aix-la-Chapelle.

À la renommée Schola Cantorum à Paris, il acheva ses études d’orgue chez le Professeur Jean Paul Imbert avec le « Diplôme de concert ». Il suivit un enseignement par correspondance chez les Professeurs W. Zerer et Theo Jellema à Groningen et participa à des cours de maître chez Jon Laukvik, Lorenzo Ghielmi et Jean Wolfs.

Il a donné des concerts en France, Suisse, Allemagne et Russie. Il se penche très fortement sur la musique de l’organiste de cathédrale parisien et compositeur Louis Vierne (1870-1937) et dirige en outre des cours d’orgue. A. Moseler exerce également une activité de compositeur.

Avec des musiciens bien connus tels que Friedemann Graef (saxophone), Jan-Filip Tupa (violoncelle) et Irina Tseytlina (orgue), il se produit également comme duo.

À l’heure actuelle, il occupe le poste de musicien religieux à la paroisse catholique St. Josef à Datteln.

Alexander Moseler, nato a Plettenberg, ha studiato ad Aquisgrana musica sacra cattolica nella Scuole superiore per musica da chiesa St. Gregorius e 2 anni cembalo presso Roswitha Trimborn nella Scuola superiore per musica di Colonia – sezione di Aquisgrana.

Nella rinomata Schola Cantorum di Parigi ha concluso il suo studio d’organo presso il Prof. Jean Paul Imbert con il "Diplôme de concert". Inoltre, ha portato a termine gli studi per corrispondenza presso i Prof. W. Zerer e Theo Jellema di Groningen ed ha partecipato a corsi di maestro presso Jon Laukvik, Lorenzo Ghielmi e Jean Wolfs.

Ha dato concerti in Francia, Svizzera, Germania e Russia. Si occupa molto a fondo della musica dell’organista di cattedrale e compositore parigino Louis Vierne (1870-1937) e oltre a ciò dirige corsi di organo. Inoltre, A. Moseler svolge anche un’attività di compositore.

Con musicisti conosciuti come Friedemann Graef (sassofono), Jan-Filip Tupa (violoncello) e Irina Tseytlina (organo) si produce in duetto.

Attualmente, ricopre il posto di musicista di opere sacre nella parrocchia cattolica di St. Josef a Datteln.
